Mr. Zippy Lube Limited Warranty
What is covered by this Limited Warranty?
This Limited Warranty is provided by NEA Zippy Lube, LLC DBA Mr. Zippy Lube. Subject to the below conditions, Mr. Zippy Lube warrants that any maintenance and repair services purchased through Mr. Zippy Lube (the “Services”) will be free from defects in materials supplied by Mr. Zippy Lube (for example parts used in the Services) and in the work performed by mechanics provided by Mr. Zippy Lube.
The Limited Warranty does not cover incidental or consequential damages, except where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
Who is covered by this Limited Warranty?
This Limited Warranty extends to the original purchaser of the Services and is not transferable and does not extend to any person who may purchase the vehicle after the Services were performed.
How long will coverage under this Limited Warranty last?
This Limited Warranty lasts for 12 months or 12,000 miles of use, whichever comes first, as measured from the date and odometer reading at the time the Services were provided (the “Warranty Period”).
What will Mr. Zippy Lube do if our Service is defective during the Warranty Period?
If either the materials provided or the work performed in the Services has a defect within the Warranty Period, we will, at our option either (1) send a mechanic without charge to you to correct the defect including, if necessary, replacing any defective part(s) used in the Services, or (2) refund to you the amount you paid for the Services.
What is not covered by this Limited Warranty?
This Limited Warranty will not apply:
To any work not scheduled, processed, and paid through Mr. Zippy Lube, including (i) any work for which you have paid the mechanic directly, rather than making your payment through Mr. Zippy Lube (ii) any work performed by any mechanic or other person not associated with Mr. Zippy Lube, and (iii) any work performed by you;
If the repaired vehicle has been damaged by abnormal use, misuse, neglect, accident or alteration;
To any issues unrelated to the Services you purchased (for example, you purchase an oil change and your car leaks oil due to faulty engine seals or gaskets. The Limited Warranty would not apply to the engine oil leak.)
How do you file a claim under this Limited Warranty?
To obtain service under this Limited Warranty email us at contact@mrzippylube.com within the Warranty Period. We will send a mechanic to inspect the problem. The following steps must be followed for the limited warranty:
- A Mr. Zippy Lube mechanic will inspect the vehicle with a warranty request to verify the issue(s) are covered.
- Mr. Zippy Lube will verify the mileage from the initial visit and the current mileage.
- Mr. Zippy Lube will verify the last date we worked on the initial repair.
- If the customer had a different mechanic or shop fix or diagnose the issue we need to see any and all invoices, pictures, and other materials involved.
- The vehicle needs to be within our service area to provide a pre-warranty check and to perform warranty work.
If Mr. Zippy Lube determines that there is a defect in materials or workmanship of the Services and we elect to perform remedial service work and/or replace defective part(s) installed (instead of providing a refund), we will create a new appointment to perform such work and/or replace such part(s) at no cost to you.
